My overall experience was pleasant and the show was great. It was very cramped in there and I felt very claustrophobic as I had two people on both sides who were bigger than me and could not fit in their seats. It was very hot in there as well and being shoulder-to-shoulder definitely didn’t help. The concessions selection was very poor and way over priced. An 8oz water bottle was $5. It was also very dusty in there and I left feeling a little stuffy because of it. Dust was falling onto us throughout the show.
It was cold. Not chilly but cold. I wish I had worn a heavier sweater (bc I did wear a sweater). Luckily I had a light jacket to help. The seats are loud squeaky but thankfully padded and comfy. Lots of ppl came in late (up to 35 mins late) so the ushers were shining their flashlights trying to find appropriate seats. It was a bit distracting. Next time I'd like to sit in the front row in order to not see the flashlights and be able to hear the show and not the seats. I'd go again. I'd also recommend to layer up.
Wonderful place for graduations and other performances. Came today for the University of Utah College of Fine Art convocation. Beautiful atmosphere and easy parking to the the Hall. Beautiful grounds and easy access.
Great venue for music, theater or laughs.
With just under 2000 seats, there is really no bad seat in the house.
I have seen One Man Star Wars to the Blue Man Group to Dr. Kaboom!
Love the history, sounds and line of sight from the floor or the balcony.
A short hike across campus of the University of Utah from your parking space. But worth the hike.

The venue itself is old and the art on the walls are beautiful. The huge complain and low star rating is the chair space and parking. During the show my feet were falling asleep and I felt like I couldn't move anywhere. Their was a pregnant lady next to me and I can only imagine how she was feeling. To park, its a good half mile walk away and overall inconvenient. I will pay to go to another venue for a show.
Kingsbury hall has so much culture! We have attended 4 shows so far this year, both with my kids and without. They are very accommodating with boosters for my younger kids, and have cool pre and post show activities to deep dive into the play.
Went here for the Sigur Ros concert.
This venue is clearly where you would see a play and I can see it being great for that. As I went for a rock concert the ability to be so close to the stage is amazing. Sound was on point although there were some technical issues in the beginning.
Would defiantly come back.
